The 7 Trees on the Trail

1st Tree – L, T, A Tree – Lucky, Thankful and Appreciative, Everyday! Dave and I said this to each other every day. No matter how bad things are, there is always something we can find to be feel lucky, thankful and appreciative for.

2nd Tree – Dave's Casino Tree – In memory to David Hilliard, a/k/a Manny D'Manatee and the King of Kindness. He loved casinos, cigars and gin and tonics. He passed in 2022 from Sporatic Crutzfeld's Jacob's Disease (SCJG). SCJD is a rare disease with no cure. Once contracted the person has less than 1 year to live.

3rd Tree – Cancer Ribbon Tree – In memory and honor of those that have passed or are fighting cancer.

4th Tree – The “S” Tree – In memory of Sarah (Denise's daughter) and Sophie (my niece) , two young girls who's time on earth was extremely brief.

5th Tree – Peanut's Halloween Tree – In honor of Jennifer “Peanut” Scott. Dave and Denise's daughter who has been fighting a Glioblastoma for over 15 years. This is the same type of brain tumor her mom had.

6th Tree – E's Beachy Tree – In memory of Ethan “E” Gilmore who fought a courageous batter against Osteosarcoma. He loved the beach, the sun and the summer.

7th Tree – Red's Tree – In memory of Denise “Red” Hilliard. An amazingly strong, kind and generous woman who touched the lives of so many people. She is the reason Seven Gifts of Kindness started and the reason Dave and I continued it, And they are reason I am moving it forward.
